I'll be attending my first John Randolph Club meeting this weekend. It is the paleoconservative club of the Rockford Institute. I'll report back on Sunday.

I'm 34 years old, married living in the Indianhead region of Wisconsin (northwest part of the state, an hour's drive from the Twin Cities.) I work at a small town newspaper and do some freelance journalism on the side. I'm a writer first and foremost but I'm also a homemaker, pet owner, gardener and lawn care specialist, snow shoveler and poor man's intellectual all in one.

I am glad to see that the John Randolph Club is still have regular meetings; I wasn't aware that the next one was this weekend.
I need to attend one of the Rockford Institute's events some time. You should consider holding one of them here, in the capital city.
I don't work for the Institute itself but if you want to keep up with what they are doing or exhange correspondence with them on where the next JRC meeting should be (which right now is up in the air) go to www.chroniclesmagazine.org and perhaps get a subscription to Chronicles.
